Hotel Vendome - Nice

The staff were knowledgeable, we had a smooth check in and a fast check-out. Lovely bed, the room was brand-new and generous sized. The breakfast was very good, had plenty of options and the food was amazing.

Excellent and adequate breakfast, a lot of meals. Modern rooms with a perfect decor, exceptionally comfortable beds with hypo-allergenic pillows. Marvellous setting, very-very nice employees at the reception desk.

Room was poor in decor and breakfast was not good!!

The location in good, shopping centers, train station and beaches are within walking distance. There are also many eating establishments within the near vicinity. The food sold by Japanese restaurant opposite the hotel is fantastic, as is the bread and pizza in a nearby boulangerie and patisserie. Some of the staff like the lady at the reception were particularly nice. We also enjoyed the free wifi inthehotel room.

There is no shower curtain in the bath room and the floor of the toilet was very slippery. I even fell down when wearing a pair of Timberland slippers. The LCD TV in the room was very tiny, luckily my daughter brought along a pair of binoculars with her.

Geographical situation , clear.

The hotel is in the city centre, really close to the

Beach, a definite plus for us! The atmosphere was lively, and we appreciated the daily room cleanings. The breakfast options could have been more diverse, as it was a bit repetitive over the three nights.

Convenient location, has its own parking, good breakfast with freshly squeezed juice. The overall impression is good.

Worn furniture, torn bed linen, ants

In my 12 years of staying at the Vendome the management has been unchanged and they're always friendly and accommodating. This year they also provided a spacious, comfortable room for my daughter's 4-person family. The location is excellent: Mama went two streets over to shop at Nice Etoile, the Kids went five streets down to spend the day at the beach, and Papa went three streets down to relax in the Old Town. It was an enjoyable stay for everyone. (5-year-old Lucas said that the breakfasts he ate at the Vendome were the best ever.)

Some of the rooms have excellent shower/baths. In other rooms it seems impossible to take a shower without flooding the bathroom. Or maybe us Americans just don't understand European plumbing !

Very clean & spacious , well located & friendly staff .

The hotel has great access - short walking distance - to tram station for Nice Ville train station, down the beach promenade, shopping centre and restaurants. Only draw back of the hotel is the reception personnel - not as helpful as our previous stayed hotels in 3 other cities in France. Nevertheless, we do appreciate the location. Take note, the room are not sound prove, we could hear our friends (we had 3 other friends traveling with us, whose room is allocated next door to us) conversation clearly!

Perfect spot in Nice!

Me and my boyfriend spent 3 nights here. The location was awesome, just a short stroll to the beach and plenty of eateries nearby. The bed was super comfy, but the room was tiny and you could hear everything from neighbors. The bar area was cool for unwinding after a day out, though. Not really a great setup for privacy.

My room with a balcony was large and beautiful.

Nice atmossphere and kind staff. Location is perfect and design is good.

Bed matress was tough for a single bed. Breakfast doesn't have cheese.

The room was small but for one person was quite good. The bathroom was brand new renovated and clean.

It cost 99euros one night, could be cheaper. But its Nice.. Everything is expensive...!
